The other critics knock this film for it's acting and the less than really scary horror but the venue is really unique. For most of the film, the camera is centered on Moretz's character, trapped in the gun turret. Its claustrophobic, like "Das Boot" except more like a small fishbowl rather than a long, slim metal tube. As such, you see the male crew members only at the beginning and the rest, you hear them over the intercom while the camera focuses only on Chloe. As such, you have to recall the character attached to the voice to know who is what and what their function is. Its a great format and they could have done without the gremlin and made it more of a spy movie.
