The best part of this movie was the brilliant theme music by John Addison. Julie Anderson is totally unfit for the role she plays (despite Hitchcock's obsession with her). Paul Newman soldiers on admirably in what has become to be thought of as one of Hitchcock's greatest clunkers. This film is a pathetic remnant of the genre of "Cold War Paranoia" films.
