if I had a cd player, I'd be interested to hear this, and reflect upon how technology has improved in the four decades since the Hollywood bowl concerts were first released, on vinyl. at the time I didn't think the group held up that well, musically. but since we were still in the throes of wishing for them to reunite, it was good to have, for a few spins(listens). at which point I returned to their solo albums, such as..Stop and Smell the Roses(ringo's); Walls and Bridges(john's); All things must pass, Living in the material world(George's); Back to the Egg(Paul's). Also released as a big news, big deal thing, at the time, were Beatles Rock and Roll, and Beatles Love Songs. We even got an album of them playing much, much earlier, in Hamburg, Germany, when Stuart Sutcliffe and Pete Best were in the band. though I am unaffiliated, like to get in a plug for mike west's breakfast with the beatles program, on the air on sundays, from 8am to 10am, on kzok, 102.5, fm. probably at kzok.com, also.
