The sixth season of The Walking Dead was definitely a turning point for the series. The previous two seasons weren’t as great as the others, but this season made a huge improvement to the show. The first half was okay, it was mainly just Rick and his group having trouble adjusting into Alexandria. The second half was much better. It was focused on the discovery of other communities. That lead to the Hilltop Colony and Saviours being introduced into the show. Which also lead them to a cliffhanger finale that had people waiting for months to find out who in Rick’s group was brutally murdered by Negan, the leader of the Saviours. The show has started to follow the comics again, but the writers do change it up at times. It can be predictable, or you’ll think it will be but then they go in a completely opposite direction. It’s good for this show to have that. For example, if you read the comics the finale would seem predictable, but the writers changed it up so the viewers of the show can have something of their own. Overall, it’s a good season! - @reviewsfromthe9 of the Teen Review Board at the Hamilton Public Library
