Well, another world music release from Paul Simon, which in it's self is a good thing but not good enough to garner any attention or much airplay,if you're awaiting the next Graceland, this ain't it. Just like his numerous releases over the decades, its got a couple of neat tunes, here Wristband and the Riverbank, with his slant on our society's ills, and the musicianship can be a bit odd at times, but hey it's Paul Simon. Maybe we're expecting to much from our 60's hero's,Paul and Bob,who continue to put out whatever they feel like putting out, some very good, some not so good, and if your a fan, you'll continue to be such. But a release like this or Bob Dylan's latest release,I just don't see these guys attracting many new fans.
