(Our friend naturalist's zeal is so great he publishes his, er, "reviews" twice: one on Oct 13, 2015 and another on Nov 24, 2015! This way, he believes, he really, really discredits these right-wing zealots... As for "refugees" this article is illuminating: http://www.express.co.uk/news/world/555434/Islamic-State-ISIS-Smuggler-THOUSANDS-Extremists-into-Europe-Refugees) On the matter of Mr. Beck, in their 2009 article at the NY Times site Brian Stelter and Bill Carter wrote: "When it was suggested in an interview that [Glenn Beck] sometimes sounds like a preacher, he responded, 'No. You’ve never met a more flawed guy than me.' He added later: 'I say on the air all time, ‘if you take what I say as gospel, you’re an idiot'.’ ” (http://www.nytimes.com/2009/03/30/business/media/30beck.html?_r=1&pagewanted=2) Not really hard to understand. First consider that Mr. Beck is a Christian--hence his use of the word "gospel" and its sense. Second, he is a human being and, as any human being, he is "flawed." It makes quite a big difference when you put things in context, doesn't it? So, let's do it at all times to avoid quoting people OUT of context! Yes, absolutely "some religions have gone through phases where extremist ideology dominates the leadership resulting in death and destruction." Catholics have no problem recognizing this stain in their past--past, mind you. On the other hand, and as our Armenian friend wrote, in the case of islam TODAY a minority of extremists has caused tremendous violence and loss of life; yet I see no condemnation of such acts by non-extremists followers...
