I went into this expecting not to like it. Surprise, surprise -- I loved it! It is a bit of a silly premise, but its such a well done sort of silly. Maybe I should be embarrassed to say it, but I definitely sympathized with Zoe (the lead). At the start of the book, she has this depressing, go-nowhere life that she complains about but doesn't actually do anything to change. Things change when she meets a man she thinks is her white knight, but then has to re-evaluate when her wants and needs aren't being meant. The ending might not be everyone's cup of tea (to be fair, it does come out of left field) but I loved it. Simple revenge with a twist. If you're looking for something light and fun that touches on the theme of finding your own type of happiness, read this!
