A heartbreaking and beautiful story “… about the shallowness of sanity”. Both a recommended and not recommended story for anyone who has had to live a year thinking magically after losing a loved one or watched, in deafening and helpless horror, an intubated loved one from an ICU doorway - I think it all depends on the what wave of grief the reader is currently caught in. For anyone who has not experienced such a year, I think this story would serve has a nice reminder that “staying strong” during an emotional crisis is overrated and, in my personal opinion, harmful. The griever should grieve loudly, whole-heartedly, all over the place - and everyone should let them do so without judgment.
