This is a 2007 political thriller directed by Gavin Hood, based on the true story of Khalid El-Masri, who was mistaken for Khalid al-Masri. The movie also has similarities to the case of Maher Arar. It centers on the controversial CIA practice of extraordinary rendition, which is the government-sponsored abduction and extrajudicial transfer of a person from one country to another so that you could torture a subject to get information. It is a really scary story. In any case, 54 countries are known to have been involved with US extraordinary renditions. It is definitely a crime against humanity.
