I fear I might have Familial Dysautonomia. The last time I really cried was watching Steel Magnolias back in the year of our Lord 1988. I started reading this book with high hopes and feeling somewhat neutral about HRC. After finishing this piece, I think Hillary is a national treasure, and I am mourning what feels like the fall of the Republic. I am now convinced the Hillary vitriol is 90% because she is a woman, 9% because she is a Democrat and 1% due to legitimate mistakes. Wednesday morning I wept from 1:30am-6:30am for my country, my daughters, my gay friends and family, my refugee friends, my Muslim friends and family, my black friends and family and for all of humanity. My eyes were to wet too read so I just listened to Jerry Garcia tunes all night and sobbed..."When it seems like the night will last forever, and there's nothing left to do but count the years. When the strings of my heart start to sever, and stones fall from my eyes instead of tears."
