-Eh, his record will be cleaner than "Doris Day's Greatest Hits".

Where were you?
- I'm sorry, hon. I got held up down at the Clover. Guess I kind of lost track of time.
You were drinking?
-Kimmy. It was one beer.
Doesn't smell like one beer.
-Welp, that's what it was. So let's go. Get in. Kim, I'm not doin' this. Come on. It's cold out. Let's... Let's go get some food, go home, split a box of McNuggets, see what's on TV.
I'm just gonna walk.
-Really?
You're gonna walk three miles with a cello. Don't be stupid. Get in. I'll... I'll let you choose the radio station. Come on. Kim, get in the car right now. I said it was one beer. You're gonna be like this? You don't believe me? Kim, get in, or I'm driving home. Right now, in the car. I mean it. I'm going. Fine. Don't listen to me. You never listen!
Law students are gonna review the "Goodman Debacle" as a teachable moment, so at least there's that. No, think of all the kids you'll help learn "what not to do" when faced with underwhelming odds. So embarrassing. You'll probably have to change your name... again. Hey, just so you know, I don't think any less of you. You're still, uh... a lawyer.

I thought you were dead. So... that was, um... all of it helped me to see what's important and what isn't.
-So you're just gonna throw it all away? I mean, you busted your ass for all of it.
I'm not throwing it away. I did S&C. I did Mesa Verde. I-I achieved that. I had that experience, but... it doesn't make me happy.

I need to know where he is going. What he is thinking. What he is planning. I need to know what he's going to do before he does it.
Look, I don't know what it's like where you're from, but here in New Mexico, you leave a soda can out, someone's taking a shot at it.

I have people. I have people waiting for me. They don't know what I do... they never will. They're protected. But I do what I do so they can have a better life. And if I live or if I die, it really doesn't make a difference to me, as long as they have what they need. So when it's my time to go, I will go knowing I did everything I could for them. Now, you ask me how I keep going? That's how.
===
No, I kept things from you to protect you. Look, if I got caught and... God forbid... you're questioned under oath, you have plausible deniability.
-Jesus, Jimmy. You can excuse stabbing me in the back by making it about protecting me?
Why me?
-Because you understand.
Understand what?
-Revenge.

***SPOILER ALERT***
And the truth is, you ignored our advice.
-Oh, so this is my fault.
We said Mesa Verde should reconsider the site for the call center. You declined. We advised you to keep the purchased lot as an investment. You declined. And we advised you to leave that meeting when it became apparent that the other side was negotiating in bad faith. You declined. At every point, we gave you the best guidance we could, and at every point, you chose to go your own way. We are your attorneys, and it is our job to advise you. The decisions will always be yours, but... if you continue to ignore us... then this is the wrong relationship. And, Kevin, I have to tell you, whoever represents you in the future... I hope you're gonna listen to them a little bit better.
Who puts a dead drop in a culvert? I mean, rain comes and... fsssht! Your money's on its way to the, uh, Rio Grande.
-So you use a different drop during the monsoon season.
"Culvert". That's a weird word. What do you think that is, like Dutch?
-Maybe French.
It's not French. In Spanish, it's "alcantarilla".
-Well, it... it doesn't come from Spanish.
I mean, you ever hear anyone walk around talk about the majestic "culverts of Spain"?
-Who the hell goes around talking about "majestic culverts"?

Before you make my headache even worse, ...no, you cannot pay me with the money you stole. Okay, that cash is Exhibit A for the prosecution. So, relatives? Anybody you haven't already fleeced?
-My grandma maybe? Yeah, she... she got a house... Yeah. and a car and shizz. Yeah, grandma. She's perfect.

Add a CommentA lot of fun as Jimmy is now officially known as Saul working as a street lawyer for low-lives and occasionally brings justice to the oppressed little guys. Meanwhile, Kim gets her dream job but looking for more. A brief scene when she was an early teen shows why Jimmy & Kim are made for each other. While expected, a bit disappointed that the script puts the progress of meth lab on the back burner, but enjoyed the twists and fireworks in the violent conflict between Lalo Salamanca (Tony Dalton) and Gud Fring.
S1: Can't get enough of the sentimental street lawyer Saul Goodman and the enigmatic strong man Mike Ehrmantraut in Breaking Bad.
S2: Saul charmed his long time girlfriend while maintaining a perilous relationship with his nemesis brother; Mike jumped thru deadly dangerous hoops to care for his daughter-in-law and granddaughter; and introduction of the lethal enforcers, known as the Cousins, from "Breaking Bad."
S3: The drug trade players (Gus Fring, Lydia Rodarte-Quayle, Hector Salamanca, henchman Victor) began to show their faces after smoked out by ex-cop Mike Ehrmantraut.
S4: The very special relationship between Jimmy & Kim, social inequality that drives Jimmy's BB law practice ... drug cartel violence, led by the cousins who wear those Skull Boot Tips.
