A perfect book to help parents (or any one else) to explain what it means to be transgender. With the transgender bathroom controversy so much in the news recently, a lot of kids may have questions that their parents feel uncomfortable answering. This sensitive, well-written book written by a kid their own age will help many kids under this dilemma, and what they can do to help. A+!

nice book about a young trans girl. good for example Transgender issues to young kids. or a good book to give young trans kids out there to show that there are others like them out there.

A positve age-appropriate presentation of coming to embrace who you are.

I saw Jazz in a video and thought she was mature, confident, well-spoken, and admirable. Her book does an excellent job of telling children her story of recognizing and accepting herself and helping others (her parents first) to do the same. This book is easy to read, pretty easy to understand. I do see some people wanting to have the book banned from school libraries, but I truly think this book should be in them, and available to all children to help them/us understand the many different kinds of lives in the world.
