I really enjoyed this book. I hadn't read anything in the fantasy genre for a long time and this has definitely piqued my interest towards reading more in the genre. Salvatore excels at describing action sequences and he creates a very intriguing setting for the story (the 'underdark'). This is actually three novels in one so expect a lengthy read.

Longest book I've ever read aside from Jodi Piccoult's "House Rules". But well worth the time! I'm just starting to get into fantasy and I was a bit skeptical after realizing it was a Dungeons and Dragons book because I don't do those kind of role-play games. But now not only am I hunting for fantasy books (and looking forward to reading the next trilogy volume) but I'm extremely intrigued by the D&D universe.

I dearly enjoyed this collectors edition. All of the stories that are enclosed are enjoyable.
