I absolutely Love the BNHA series, and now, I ALSO love the movie. There are so many things in this movie that are really awesome, and I LOVED it. I also have a habit of letting my 6 year old sister watch shows with me that she probably shouldnt, that said, BNHA was probably one of them. However, she absolutely loved the series, and also like the movie. So, honestly, there isnt really a set age limit, it just depends how much the kid already knows about the world in my eyes. Im our family, we are very loud and the adults cuss infront of us all the time, so Im not worried about it for her, but any other child, who isnt around it as often, should steer clear.

An excellent movie to a great anime second only to the Dragon Ball franchise!! If you get a kick out of superheroes, whether Marvel or DC, this is an anime for you! It's funny and action-packed with great characters anyone could relate themselves to. If you've never seen the anime, or read the manga, then this movie would be a good introduction to give you an idea what the anime is like, especially since the movie has a few flashback as to how Izuku, or Deku if you you like, got his powers.

If you're a fan of "My Hero Academia" (hereafter referred to as Bokuno), this is a must see movie. As with any other movie derived from a currently running show, it takes place outside of the canon of the show and pretty dryly lets you know that early on. It is a fun romp through your typical shonen tropes, combining fun action, true to form character interactions and some cute fan service.

While it has its problems (several of the characters SHOULD be dead, considering the action intensity) it never quite takes me out of my suspension of disbelief. Like the show, it takes familiar shonen themes and does EXACTLY what you'd want to see with them. It's an overall great movie and, for a "Bokuno" fan, a must watch.

Set between "My Hero Academia's" second and third season, Izuku Midoriya (Deku) and his mentor, Toshinori Yagi (All Might), are invited to a famous hero convention, I-Expo, on I-Island. A man-made island, I-Island is home to several Quirk based research facilities far away from the oversight and influence of any of the world nations.

Upon arriving to I-Island, Deku and All Might meet Melissa Shields, the daughter of All Might’s former partner, David Shields. While David and All Might catch up with each other, Melissa introduces Deku to the many different portions of I-Island and becomes acquainted with several of Deku’s classmates; who, through various means, have also found their way to I-Island. The youth mostly enjoy a day on the island and, later, meet up to go to a gala celebrating I-Expo.

Unbeknownst to the students, a terrorist organization has taken control of I-Island’s security and captured many of the expo's attending heroes. It becomes up to Deku and his friends to break the terrorist’s control over the island and save everyone from the ever stacking odds that threaten to upset the balance of their world.
