Having lost a son 12 years ago to Cystic Fibrosis, at the age of 24, I read the book to see how accurate it is. I'm impressed that they did their research, however, I would have included that this is a genetic disease and a mention about how someone is born with Cystic Fibrosis. I gave the book four stars for how accurately it portrays the struggles those with CF face every day.

My son did undergo a double lung transplant in 2005, but due to problems with organ rejection and recurring infections, he passed away 22 months after. The transplant did give him at least six really good months where he felt like a whole new person, being able to breathe without struggling for the first time in his life.

I hope that someday soon there is a cure for this horrible disease. Thank you to all of you who read the book, and share with others what you have learned. It's through this sort of "promotion" that this world will realize how often we take the simple task of breathing for granted.

On a side note, listen to the song "I lived" by OneRepublic, as it is about a teenager living with Cystic Fibrosis

This novel was so well written that you really felt a part of the characters lives. I cried a little throughout this novel as you follow the story of 3 Cyber Fibrosis teenagers and the struggles they have to face.

This book was very interesting. I enjoyed reading about they're CF and what they're going through. The end was very sad but I liked how the author wrapped up the story. Definitely a must read if you liked The Sun is also a Star.

Very very very good! I read this book in less than a day, and the movie was also very good. Make sure you have tissues! This story makes you feel many emotions. Absolutely loved it!

Based on the screenplay of the somewhat popular movie, this book gives us a glimpse into the world of teens dealing with cystic fibrosis. Reminds us of the limitations of dealing with a debilitating illness. The repeat hospital visits. The need for a transplant. Therapy and med schedules. Stella has it all together. Will has given up. Told in alternating perspectives, the narrative has a "Fault In Our Stars" vibe. This collaboration, however, does not measure up to the level of John Green's work.

I love this book. It was very sweet and had some very interesting twists. I was very intrigued on how the Romeo & Juliet-type relationship would end up. The only thing that I though could have been better was the character development and relationship building. I didn't know a lot about this book going into it but that part of this book seemed very juvenile. Ew boys are gross but wait he is pretty and notices me was the vibe I got.
