The best-selling book by one the 21st Century?s most innovative and exciting spiritual thinkers, with over 6 million copies in print!?With his bestselling spiritual guide The Power of Now, Eckhart Tolle inspired millions of readers to discover the freedom and joy of a life lived "in the now." In A New Earth, Tolle expands on these powerful ideas to show how transcending our ego-based state of consciousness is not only essential to personal happiness, but also the key to ending conflict and suffering throughout the world. Tolle describes how our attachment to the ego creates the dysfunction that leads to anger, jealousy, and unhappiness, and shows readers how to awaken to a new state of consciousness and follow the path to a truly fulfilling existence. A New Earth was an Oprah Book Club pick and reads as a traditional narrative, offering anecdotes and philosophies in a way that is accessible to all. Illuminating, enlightening, and uplifting, A New Earth is a profoundly spiritual manifesto for a better way of life?and for building a better world.

Great self help audiobook read by the author. I felt an amazing positive energy going through me while listening to him. Anyone with an open mind and desire for enlightenment who is suffering from emotional pain will find Eckhart’s teachings helpful . Awareness of my thoughts as well as the role the ego and painbody have in it’s story telling has been life changing for me. I’m constantly recommending this book to strangers wishing for an awakening awareness for all.

What a great book! Read by the Author, it's a powerful and transformative look at the world, using practical every day examples.
The first half of the book is a bit slow, but builds as you learn to grasp the concepts, the final 2 hours is full on, and i'll need to review it again to get the most of it.

This book is the only book I have come across that describes the ego mind in easy to understand terms. The first few chapters are the best.

"Oprah Winfrey thinks everyone should read this book and language mentor Lydia Machova agrees. "This book has surprised me with hundreds of realizations about life, relationships, communication between people, emotions, and much more," she told TED. "The book may give you a new point-of-view on many situations and relationships in your life and possibly, a new outlook on the world."
