Have no fear... this book has lots of body building exercises without having to buy your own fitness equipment. Instead use regular household items or just yourself to do the exercises. Cost-efficient for people who can not afford to purchase fitness equipment of their own. Excellent and a great idea to a unique way to fitness. Will definitely be taking this book out again.

This is an outstanding book, the author, Mark Lauren, provides numerous excellent bodyweight exercises. Please keep in mind, that while he mentions the overall exercise set, there are still many variations which can be incorporated.
Thus, the author mentions the two types of handstand pushups, facing the wall and against the wall and there are around 8 to 10 variations of these which one can incorporate; such as going to a partial down position, with arms bent, then pushing away, back and forth, going almost to the ground, then doing the same, slight different muscle groups. Also, while in the fully extended position, keeping the arms straight, using just the shoulders, one pushes up and down - - inverse shoulder-shrugs.
Also, going half-way down, then moving horizontally, et cetera - - you get the idea.
But with these, the author provides the reader with the idea for future expansion.

I like the approach this author presents. Providing good information on nutrition and simple yet challenging exercises. I look forward to incorporating some of the authors recommendations in my fitness regimen.

I'm in pretty great shape, but some of these exercises are brutal (advanced variations). This is for people who are up for a challenge! I'm not sure beginners (couch potato level) would get much benefit, but if you are already doing a few pushups, there are lots of ideas to inspire you to go further. Some pretty surprising variations.

Loved the book so much i bought it and the CD. I am 47 years old, been at it 2 months now and getting leaner and more toned. Sensible, achievable and definitely tough enough for every level. Based on the best available science and non gimmicky nutrition, it is well worth the read

I love the workouts and they're not boring. I got the Android app too and it compliments the book very well because it has timers built in and saves your workout history. Even though the app does give you descriptions of the exercises, many of them have more details in the book. I might just end up buying the book.

lots of good advice. great exercises why join a gym? Gives suggestions for beginners on doing most of the exercises in a less stressful way. Very clever. I liked the book so much I bought it.
