A surprising story....well done
My takeaways: Love is love. Friends support one another. Stink bugs are bad. Vote.
I really liked the way the topic of same sex relationships/marriage was approached. It's a sensitive and endearing read aloud that is well illustrated and gets the point across well about the importance of valuing differences.
I really liked the book. I should add that the subject of gay marriage comes up in the book.
Wow, this is such a sweet story! I laughed, then I cried! Long live the love of Marlon and Wesley! I hope this sweet story of love, marriage equality and the importance of voting lives forever!
Adorable book for all ages. This book should be given out to every one. It has such a beautiful message and is definitely not for the homophobes.
Marlon Bundo is a family pet of Vice President Mike Pence, and he is alone. He sleeps alone, eats alone, watches TV alone, and hops around the garden alone. Then one day he meets another rabbit named Wesley and he is no longer alone. Marlon and Wesley decide they want to spend the rest of their lives together. Everyone is happy for them, but the Stink Bug says "NO! Boy bunnies can't marry boy bunnies!" And he's in charge. How will Marlon and Wesley find happiness?
I love the art style in this book! Marlon is quite a cute rabbit. The book itself promotes political themes like the election process, but does so in a story fashion.

Adorable and informative in a child friendly way. Love the names of all the characters. It is a sweet reminder of the way the world is ~ a rainbow of humanity.
