"Hoping that time away will help her overcome recent traumas, Kate agrees to swap apartments with her cousin Corbin. But when she arrives in Boston, Kate discovers that a neighbor has been murdered--and the police suspect her cousin. Corbin calms her nerves, and she believes him until she comes across disturbing objects in his apartment. Jet-lagged and emotionally fragile, Kate can barely trust herself, let alone strangers she's just met. Yet the danger Kate imagines isn't nearly as twisted as what's about to happen. When her every fear becomes very real. And much, much closer than she thinks" -- Page [4] of cover.

One of the best suspense books I have read. Keeps your attention from start to finish. A real page turner.

I am going to say ditto to the other comments. I enjoyed this book so much that I may read it again. It was so full of twists and turns. I couldn't figure out who the bad guy was. And this to me is the best kind of mysteries. I will look for this author.

I didn't want to put this book down! I enjoyed how the author went in depth with each main character's background so you could understand their motivations. I also liked the different perspectives of the same events. Fans of Rear Window will like this thriller.

SO good. This is what I think of when it comes to a psychological thriller and it had me hooked from the first few pages. Interestingly enough, you find out the identify of the killer a little over halfway through and the rest of the story is dedicated to unraveling the events. This story is told through perspectives of different people which I really enjoyed. I've read quite a few reviews where people didn't like the ending because the story slows down or because you already know the killer at this point, but I didn't feel that way at all. You still wanted to race through the pages and I did just that. Do not hesitate with this one!

An atmospheric and looming thriller about a young London woman who swaps apartments with a distant cousin from Boston. While getting to know her new neighbors, she realizes her cousin was fleeing something unsaid - and now she's a target of a stalker. Swanson delivers the chills.
