This book was probably my least favorite in the whole series. I always loved the fantasy element of living in the lost cities and attending Foxfire. However, that was taken away in this book. I sort of lost interest in the middle, and had to force myself to keep going just because I knew the later books would get better. There were tons of characters that I loved who had to get left behind (Edaline and Grady, Alden and Della, Elwin, Marella, Jensi, and many more.) However, I do enjoy the characters of Tam and Linh, who are introduced later in the book. While living away from home with the Black Swan adds a new adventure element to the series, the KOTLC series isn't a series that necessarily revolves around action, so more of it wasn't needed. Also, the ending was unsatisfactory for me, for reasons I can't state (because of spoilers). I feel it could use some major changes, even though it was setting up for Lodestar.

This book is totally awesome! Fitz is cool, but Sophie has to go for Keefe! He is like the best! I am number two in line for Flashback, the next book after Nightfall. It's going to be great and I am so excited! My favorite book in the series was probably the second, but it is also probably part of the reason I don't like Fitz as much- He totally turned his back on Sophie!

The raw emotions in this one are so intense, they almost made me cry. Poor Keefe :(

Omg, sooooooooo good...... But Keefe, you're starting to break my heart, and Sophie's. For those of you who have read this book, and ship Sokeefe, I'm refering to the part of the book when the gang's in Exillium, and when Sophie and Keefe are in the tent. When Keefe has consumed what he called "awesomesauce," and when he reveals a dare that made Sophie's heart tinge with jealousy. Also, I did not expect Coiffe to be who he was. And also no, I'm not going to reveal who he is, for the people who are hoping I'm going to spoil part of the story for them. Shame on u for asking!😉

Neverseen, written by Shannon Messenger, is the fourth book in her series, The Keeper of the Lost Cities. As Sophie dwells deeper into the fire that’s consuming her world, she struggles to find peace with each element in her life burning in the flames. Her journey with the Black Swan continues to surprise her as she is their saving grace, but can she accomplish what she is meant to do? The fourth installment of Shannon Messenger’s series, is another hit in my book, as many questions arise, with a minimum of answers revealed, leaves you wanting to turn the page as quickly as possible. Overall, this novel is the deal breaker of the series, as loyalties break and secrets are revealed, Neverseen is sure not to disappoint.

Frightening or Intense Scenes: Some of these scenes are a little bit dark, so readers should be at least 11 or 12. Or if your mind can handle the violence.
