This book is just as enjoyable as the first Harper Connelly novel. Charlaine Harris' writing is so effortless. The Harper-Tolliver relationship is really the heart of these books and it's lovely to read.

This book was better then the first one, its not an action packed story, more of a mystery thats figured out by thinking all the angles through rather then doing. My suspicion that I had in the first book concerning Harper and Tolliver is pretty much proven true in this book making the story less weird to me at least. I will continue to read this series.

A fun Charlaine Harris novel. Light and fluffy - if you can describe finding dead people that way. A fast, easy read.

This is the second book in a new series by this author. I liked it better than the first one. The relationship between the main characters is different and interesting. The resolution of the mystery is not easily seen.
