Worth buying, especially if you have an interest in how advancement in technology has influenced media or environmental conservation.

Attenborough is captivating as always, and he is humble enough to show his mistakes from his early career, which is very refreshing.

This is more of a documentary than his typical nature film, so it's not ideal for audiences with a shorter attention-span. Some of the footage (particularly a pride of lions killing an elephant) can be brutal and difficult to watch. Certainly, the purpose the film is not for enjoyment but for education and to get you thinking about how we think about conservation.

This is the ULTIMATE Attenborough Special! Lots of footage from his early days on tv, and he shares various memories & anecdotes about the different trips & filming abilities, and how they would play with new technology. I would LOVE to see more Attenborough documentaries at our library, he makes the most interesting shows with so much information about the location & animals & behaviours!

I HIGHLY recommend this! Even kids would enjoy Attenborough, they would never realize they were learning!
