Learning to develop a minimalist lifestyle is a current and popular theme on many lifestyle blogs. This book takes the concept of minimalism and applies it to helping the reader define, analyze and refine a personal style and to use that knowledge to build a basic wardrobe that contains a limited number of useful and interchangeable items in order to make it easy, on a daily basis, to select pieces that work well together and build confidence.

This book would be helpful for those readers who are making a lifestyle transition and those who are simply overwhelmed by a wardrobe containing too many clothes that just don’t work together and who need help to build and manage a closet. My only criticism is that the described process is a bit complicated and that it would benefit from some more specific guide lines. It is however, an interesting and enjoyable read for anyone with a passion for fashion.

My wife found it quite helpful. It's more of a workbook than a list of what to buy and put together.

Too repetitive. Not as helpful as I thought it would be.
