As a true story it's full of lies from head to toe, i would believe Aliens invading earth more than this story. As a movie it's not bad. More like a thriller than a horror movie. Over acting By Vera Farmiga & Patrick Wilson.

Amazing Movie. Awesomely Directed, if you know James Wan he like to do really long takes and seamlessly blend with cgi.

Its tense and edge of your seat. I highly recommended. One of the best horror films in years.

I enjoyed the original film. This one is also a good example of a scary movie with good acting and very good special effects. The last ten minutes of the movie are riveting. I suspect some reviewers who have not enjoyed this film or have decided it was not that scary are probably not familiar with some of the classic horror movies of the past.

More violence, gore, and blood do not make a scary movie. Alfred Hitchcock was proud of the shower scene in "Psycho" because viewers never really see the knife blade penetrate the victim's skin. He was later quoted as saying: what the viewer believes he sees is far worst than what can be shown on the screen. Not an exact quote, but close.

I still like the first more but I did enjoy the overall creepiness of this movie. I would say The Conjuring series is one of the better modern horror movie franchise.

This is one seriously spooky film. A horror flick worthy of the name and very nearly as good as its predecessor, this one provides plenty of 'jump back in your seat moments' and tons of good old fashioned creepiness. Highly recommend for those who like to be frightened. Watch with a friend!
