Truly a great film with so many layers of meaning. The film really helped me to understand the world of a person with Autism. It also portrays an amazing look into the life of undocumented immigrants and their struggle to care for their son with autism. You feel the angst and struggle of helping their son with the fear of being found out by the authorities. The children reveal the struggles of being second generation immigrants trying to fit into American and NY culture. The teenage daughter has the extra burden of caring for her brother and fitting in. Brilliant shots of NYC and Rockaway with an additional cast member, Super Storm Sandy adding angst on top of all else. The ending is quite clever.
