This book is overly simplified. What surprises me is the author seems to have an immensely negative opinion of the internet itself, she shames parents who have "screen time" in front of their children, and gives ludicrous suggestions of giving a child their first gaming device at 13 and monitoring their usage to 30 minutes a day up to the age of 18.

I was looking for a work that would address the important culture of the internet, to validate those who find connection, community and purpose by connecting with others. What I got was a preachy, over simplified shock story about a kids who drop dead from playing video games, paying no attention to the extreme minority that are those cases.
