Working for the MI7 agency, Johnny English is suddenly promoted to super spy after Agent One is assassinated and every other agent is blown up at his funeral. When entrepreneur Sauvage sponsors an exhibition of the Crown Jewels and the valuable gems disappear on the opening night, the newly designated agent must jump into action. Tracking the thieves' underground escape route, English locks in on Sauvage despite repeated assurances by boss Pegasus that the respected entrepreneur has nothing to do with the crime.

Disappointing spy movie is crude, unfunny and dull.

I love this movie and the music in it. It is so funny without any objectionable material. The second one, Johnny English Reborn, has a lot more action in it but I didn't find it funny at all.

Was not impressed with the movie, as it was extremely predicable. Nothing like Mr. Bean which was at least reasonably fresh.

With the sequel coming out I wanted to rewatch the first one. A lot funnier then I remembered. Typical Rowan Atkinson humour! Lots of laugh out loud slapstick!

I watched Johnny English on DVD it is a secrete agent movie. Johnny English played by Rowan Atkinson also known as Mr. Bean. It is an excellent movie! And a great family movie. It is also laugh-at-loud funny. In the beginning he double clicks the pen but it backfires and ends up hitting the secretary of the queen.
