The nurse looked wrong from the get-go. Would she reveal true self as an alter ego of nurse Miss Ratched in One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest, or the caretaker Annie Wilkes in Misery or the nanny Claire in The Hand That Rocks the Cradle? Story was far fetched but daringly sinister.
