I enjoyed this book very much. The latest in the series with Harry Fairstine and her pets, Pewter, Mrs. Murphy and Tee Tucker. But I also agree with some of the earlier comments. Ms. Brown does seem to be getting tired of this series. I usually don't enjoy the going back and forth in time, but, I have to admit, this time I became much more involved and enjoyed the story from the 1700's more than the current one taking place near Crozet. This was the latest in this particular series. I'm wondering what Ms. Brown will do with this series next time.

Book felt like it had been written to meet a deadline. Very little character development and the plot didn't hang together very well.

another wonderful story and do like how she chooses to use words concisely

I agree with first comment. I personally didn't like the back and forth for the historical aspects of the book. The other characters could be given new story lines. This is one of my favorite series and one my first cozy mysteries I ever read. I love anticipating the books but was sad at being disappointed when reading the book.

Not as good as earlier books in this series. I think Ms. Brown is tired of the characters.
