While I enjoyed Brockmole's 'Letters from Skye, I found that the characters in this book weren't very well-rounded and the plot seemed a bit old. Still, it was a light, entertaining read.

I adored this book and even after many months the thought of the masks keep returning. A wonderful read!

A well-woven and enjoyable story, although it progresses a little slowly and reads a bit like a Lifetime movie at times. Overall an easy read for anyone who enjoys historical fiction/light romance.
