The Apaches, the Mexicans and the Spanish before them, and the Americans all fought viciously. The period from 1861, when Mickey Free (Felix Ward) was taken captive by the Apaches, till 1886 represents the longest war in American history. An amazing story of guerrilla warfare, where thousands lay dead at the end, and the means which each side used to pursue the other. Highly recommended. Not for the faint of heart; the story is bloody but true.
