Mexican Today is a contemporary take on Mexican food with interesting and different recipes mixed with old stand-bys. While this book could be a staple in your kitchen, we thought that the book could use more pictures and were annoyed buy recipes that required pages to be turned. Patti offers stories and anecdotes as well as side bars for ingredients and instructions that may not be familiar. We recommend this for the cook looking for new ideas and the cook book reader.

You can recycle all your other mexican cookbooks; Pati Jinich's Mexican Today is the only one you need to ensure you never again have a dull taco night.
