A bit of a dry read but overall it was interesting. Basically Diaz is advocating for doing what you can to make yourself healthier so you can live a longer life but in a way that embraces all stages of life.

I found this to be a surprisingly refreshing book by a relatively young author (for a book on aging) working in a "looks are everything" industry. Readable chapters containing scientific research and personal stories are down-to-earth and wise without gushing or fearmongering about the aging process. Kudos to Diaz for this contribution!
