A massive alien ship crashes to earth and when the aliens finally emerge they look just like humans! Wells takes this great start and builds an exciting sci-fi adventure as the aliens true story is slowly uncovered and the real enemy revealed. An unexpected historical connection makes the story even more interesting. "Dark Energy" is a good pick for any fan of alien invasion stories like Independence Day.
Fast moving but without depth. Missing a lot of detailed info , kind of shallow. A bit disappointing even for a teen book. Only 2 stars from me.
A young adult novel with aliens. I found it to be a little anticlimactic and boring. There was potential to the story but it fell a little flat.
