First of all, awesome and hilarious movie. No doubt, it was better than expected.
Charles Schultz started his comic strip, he was not expecting it to become arguably the most famous comic strip ever. Only the good strips have movies and/or shows to go with them. Off hand I can only think of 1 other strip that matches peanuts. That strip is Garfield.{ Though the Garfield movies are not very good, the shows were}

I am SUCH a big fan of Charlie Brown and his gang since day 1. So obviously teen-me decided to sit down with my seven year old brother and watch The Peanuts Movie. I have to say I was pleased overall because of characters and visuals in the movie, the plotline was sweet and cute but there were some parts that I thought were unnecessary and it was hard to stay watching every single scene, so I drifted off during some parts. It kind of annoyed me that Charlie Brown was being depicted as more older thus the school dance but in the end, his sympathy and trustworthiness won the day!

Not even close to what I expected.There was only one joke,it was not cute,and charlie was not acting smart.So why does it say "Funny,Cute,and Smart" in the Back!?!?!

And you know what annoys me most is the fact that the movie is not 1 hour and 30 minutes

Cute movie. Some of the scenes were long, and a bit boring but I'm an adult and it's a kids movie right? Overall a good show, especially for kids.

Why-oh-why-oh-why-oh-why did those blasted, tunnel-visioned, short-sighted jerks in Hollywood have to go and tamper with the likes of Charlie Brown (and the rest of the Peanuts Gang)? Eh!? Why??

I guess (like with everything else that Hollywood gets its grubby, little hands on) they just couldn't leave well-enough alone (especially since the lucrative market for merchandising "Peanuts Gang" toys shone brightly in their eyes).

I'd certainly say that one of this "kiddie film's" biggest deficits was its 90-minute running time.

I mean, this picture's unbelievably predictable story-line could've easily been told in about half that time - But here, with this particular production - So many "filler" scenes were thrown into the mix (for good measure) that, before long, it all became really stale and unbearably tiresome, for the most part.

Cute - But could have been a lot better - And, why couldn't Hollywood just leave good, old Charlie Brown alone?

Delightful, especially for an old guy like me, brought up on Linus and Charlie Brown and Snoopy, and Lucy the misanthrope....can't beat the simplicity of the message and its profundity, as well as the sheer entertainment...

I really enjoyed this movie. It was heartwarming and cute, and I thought it kept the spirit of Schulz very well. After it was over, I was disappointed, yet satisfied with the ending. It left with a warm, cozy feeling. Definitely one movie I would recommend to others.

I watched this movie today it was really good i think this movie should be for Adluts when i put a hold on it i thought the movie was going to be placed as adults not childern i think this movie should be in the family secsen the parts they put in the movie remines me of the old movies they had of tham on this movie the funny part i think they have is Charie Brown playing baseball and the snowman trowing the ball back hard who is really snoopy witch i didn't know it was really him. Also, Snoopy was snoring when Charie Brown was talking to him at night and later Snoopy tryed to go to school but the kids wounld't let him in and so he snucked in and so he took a binder and he snapped it on his finger and yelled out and Lucy kicked Snoopy out of the school. Then, he found a typewriter and was scared at first because he didn't know how to use it these were also funny too the ones i wroth down i really like this movie i think it should be for all ages young and old.
