Suggested to me by a customer, this is another factional (fiction and fact) story about two of the many pioneers in Child Rearing, Dr. John Watson and Rosalie Rayner. They published a book together in the 1930's that was considered revolutionary before dear old Dr. Spock.
The blend of their personal lives and their own family life made for an interesting story.
As a parent, their theories on raising a child did not agree with mine.

This was a slow moving and interesting read. I can't imagine using an emotionally detached style of parenting and it was interesting to see that Rayner struggled with it and Watson second guessed his ideas that were based on studies done on one child. This is a fictional biography.
