An intimate portrait of Venice Beat poet William Margolis, filmed in the 1970s by his friend Donald Rothenberg at the poet's home in Venice, California. The poet talks about his life, the San Francisco Beat scene, friendships with Kenneth Patchen, Alan Ginsberg, Jack Kerouac and others, and reads several poems of his own and of Bob Kaufman's. Includes a KPFK radio intervew with Stuart Perkoff and Tony Scibella.
