This 7th studio album from Bowie has some OK songs on it. But nothing is a stand-out.
Moonage Daydream ?
Released in 1973 - Pin-Ups would be David Bowie's 7th studio album. Back in its day - This album made its way into the record stores sandwiched in between Alladdin Sane and Diamond Dogs.
This compilation of 12 tracks are covers of songs originally written and previously performed by other recording artists such as - "Shape Of Things" (by the Yardbirds), "See Emily Play" (by Pink Floyd), and "Anyway, Anyhow, Anywhere" (by the Who).
To me - This is not one of Bowie's best musical offerings - But it is still worth a listen just to hear Bowie doing other artists' songs his way.
Give me one year of Bowie and I would be eternally grateful. This is Five Years!
