The most boring book I have ever read.

Danish homicide investigator Simonsen and his team are called to Greenland when a missing girl is discovered in the melting icecap.

Much better than ‘The Hanging’ but the psychopath suspect is not my favorite thriller reading. There’s a lot of detail before this book wraps up. Looking ahead to the next in the series this detail scenario seems a characteristic of their writing. Not sure I’ll stay with the Hammers.

(The second book in the Konrad Simonsen series) Not a great favorite. I like the series, but this story is not strong - needs editing. I prefer "who done it's " to this outline. Very mild recommendation because the character's lives are developed sequentially... Kristi & Abby Tabby

A well written crime story with incisive insight into Scandinavian police procedures. The characters are multi-dimensional drawing the reader into a feeling of caring relationship with them. I really enjoyed this novel.
