If you put a hold on this book, I would recommend cancelling it. It was terrible. And really surprising that it was even published.
Spoilers to follow ----
Honor finds out that Hancock betrayed her. She thought she was safe only to find out that he will deliver her to the enemy where she will be tortured and raped and eventually killed. He tells her she needs to die for the greater good. But her death will not be in vain. She will be saving thousands of innocent people in the process. So, her initial reaction is totally believable. She's angry, hates him etc. then she says she deserves to know what she's dying for and Hancock explains. Then, boom, she forgives him. And she's comforting him. Seriously?

I didn't love this book. The male character - Hancock - does treat the female character - Honor - horribly for the first half of the book. When Honor pathetically asks him to make love to her before he sacrifices her to the enemy - for the greater good - I'm thinking, have some self-respect.

If you are looking for romance skip this book. Very disappointing.
