I am a Kellerman fan, probably more Faye than Jonathan/Jesse.

This book was a challenge. I kept at it until the end however still am scratching my head saying "whaaaat?" Wonderment came up frequently...and I didn't want to go back and try to figure out what was really happening by re-reading. So I plowed through it...and "plowing" is the best description. I couldn't summarize the plot if you held a gun to my head.

This book might have been more interesting if I had read The Golem of Hollywood first. It was a very difficult read, hard to figure out who the characters are supposed to be. I got stubborn, about half way through I finally googled 'Golem' to see if that would help. It didn't. A 500 page book finally starts to make sense in the last 50 pages.

Hard to get into. While I am a Kellerman fan, this book just not as engaging.

Thought I'd give the second Golem book a try but while the writing is good I just don't enjoy this series or the lead characters. Sorry, otherwise a Kellerman fan.

I like Johnathan Kellerman's Alex Deleware series and I've read all of them. His wife Kay's books are too Jewish for me, don't like them. The son takes after his mother, not his dad. I couldn't finish this book, took it back before the half.
