If You’re reading this it’s too late is Drake’s fourth album he has released. Upon release, he said it’s more of a mixtape to his fans rather than an album. This is arguably Drake’s most “rapping” album as he took a more aggressive look towards it. The first track Legend is a great opening track with a calm, but confident tone. The aggressiveness begins after that with 10 Bands, Energy, Know Yourself and No Tellin’. There are also a few more chill songs with Drake talking about his past such as You & The 6, Jungle, Madonna and Company. It features artists Partynextdoor, Lil Wayne and Travis Scott. Personally, this is a very enjoyable project to listen to. If you like aggressive rap this is probably Drake’s best work for that. Tracks I like the most are Star67, No Tellin’, You & the 6 and Jungle. The only Drake’s I didn’t like are Preach and Wednesday Night Interlude. Overall this is some of Drake’s best work rapping and he came to prove he is on the top of hip hop. In my opinion it isn’t his best album he’s released but it is up there and is solid.

I have mixed feelings about Drake. He's emerged as maybe the most significant rapper of this decade (Kanye would beg to differ.) and has a broad appeal that recalls Jay-Z is his heyday. As much I like individual songs, I find listening to a whole album of his somewhat exhausting. He can be a little whiny about fame and a little emo (something he got from Kanye's "808s and Heartbreak.") for someone who is so successful. His fourth album is way too long: 19 songs, nearly 80 minutes. Guests include Lil Wayne, Partynextdoor, and Travis Scott. "Hotline Bling" is not on this, btw.
