Ken Bruen is one of my favorite writers. He is up there with Sanford, Burke, and Child. This one is a bit choppy, but still a good read. I have begun to read authors he mentions in his books, and trying some music too.

Not his best. Pretty much scattered all over the place. Some good episodes. But this is Bruen for you. That's why I like him. This is the middle of the road for him. Not quite up there with the 'White Trilogy'. Unfortunately, after that opus, he never came close again.

This Jack Taylor novel was rather short & a bit choppy in spots. I always look forward to sitting down and reading Bruen.

Did not enjoy it as much as the other Jack Taylor books. Rather short and choppy but just as dark as the others about this character.

Not up to Bruen's usual standard but still a good read and Jack Taylor continues to be a great creation.
