Highly enjoyable, particularly for golf fans, though those outside the ropes, should enjoy it as well.
Mr. Ryan's underlying premise is that the PGA Tour is undergoing major change in player leadership and it appears he may be right. Ryan has decided, quite interestingly, to follow the Tour for a year, thorough the eyes of the young "guns", but he succeeds in a much more enjoyable form, by delving deeply into the backgrounds of these potential up-and-comers.

One is highly surprised and entertained when discovering that Rickie Fowler of orange garb and flowing locks, is not only super popular with young fans, but one of the most highly respected players by his peers. In addition to coming from humble beginnings, he is the grandson of a Japanese grandfather, who was interred during WW II, while on the the other side, his grandfather was from the Navajo Tribe that produced WWII's code talkers.

The book is filled with fascinating vignettes about many of golf young guns, Mr. Ryan doe s a very good job and it's well worth the read.
