This is a British cookbook (like Seasonal Preserves by Farrow, also available through KCLS). Like that book, it has a fair amount of recipes that I haven't seen in American cookbooks (lime pickle, recipes using elderflowers, pickled lemons, harissa paste, etc.). This book has more curds and conserves than Seasonal Preserves. She puts butter in her jams (like Carol Barrow). All of her jellies have apple in them (in case you are allergic to apples; she uses applies in several other recipes). There were several recipes that stood out to me as interesting, including two recipes for butternut squash, an eggplant relish, spiced oranges and a ginger curd. She also has a section on curing meats.
