Description on the jacket seemed very promising, but the execution was poor. The first hundred pages were confusing, with a lot of time jumps that didn't really indicate if you were in the present or the past. The last half of the book moved quickly and was more entertaining, but still not quite the satisfying story I was looking for.

A nasty look at a post-plague New York City and what extreme wealth might mean for those fortunate enough to survive. The ending felt a little incomplete and some of the characters remain sketchy instead of fully developed. A disturbing read.
