""Hello my name is Warren, and I've got something to share... Just because I'm furry doesn't mean that I'm a bear." Warren the Koala is many things -- cute, furry, maybe a bit of a grump -- but the one thing he is not is a bear! Hilariously on the verge of losing his cool, Warren offers up some compelling arguments: furry doesn't equal bear; bears are found in Canada; just because some careless explorer made a judgment error ages ago doesn't mean it should continue. Much to the chagrin of this apoplectic marsupial, public opinion does not appear to have been swayed. Aaron Blabey's expressive Warren, the not-a-bear, wonderfully captures the universal frustration of how it can feel to be misunderstood."-- Provided by publisher.

Koalas are NOT bears! Really cute and funny book. Colourful illustrations. This book also helps to teach children about different kinds of animals.

You might recall Aaron Blabey from The Bad Guys series, or Thelma the Unicorn. This book is all about a Koala that is sick and tired about being called a Koala BEAR. He states his case in the book and explains how different he is from bears. A very funny read!

This one cracked me up, it's so cute and funny. It's great to teach kids about different types of animals (koalas are marsupials, not bears) and that looks can be deceiving. Good for kids with a sense of humour. I love the illustrations (especially the way Blabey illustrates the mouths).
