It's about breaking cycles and building dreams. Set in a contemporary, tough, inner-city precinct, this is a story of revenge and triumph, as a teenage boy is torn between his unexpected love of theatre and the disintegration of his family. With encouragement from his unconventional American drama teacher, he confronts his past and eventually takes control of his future.

This movie is an inspirational message of how we don't have to be defined by our circumstances or family. It uses a Shakespearean play (Hamlet) to show that great literature is timeless and that art imitates life. I especially liked that it is shot in a different culture but the themes are the same everywhere. It's about finding your passion and not letting anyone deter you from it. Very enjoyable.
