The author showed great respect for Mary and Jack in writing this book reflecting on their meeting, careers and love story as it unfolded ! ... thus for the children in their lives. I wondered how Bella Andre would approach this book ... knowing Jack was not with the family physically during this gathering. (as the book was about the story of Jack and Mary... and getting to know Jack ) It was very creative how she introduced their awestruck meeting thru Mary delving by way of love in heart and thoughts in her mind of her late husband... and later on her grown children ... waiting for them to arrive for the Sullivan Family Christmas Gathering. It was a wonderful story and part of me was very sad... because this is when we got to really meet Jack ... but knew ... really knew was not physically with them anymore !!! ... and never would be. ... only in memories for some. A caring husband, demonstratng to be a true family man, with big heart for his and Mary's love of their families. This story is very romantic and deserves a top rating with a big glowing star on top of this Christmastime tree book ! !!! The book is also aptly titled. ! The mistletoe is very significant for more than one occasion ... "This book will be added to my Christmas reading basket to be shared with friends and family. "
