In recent years, Carnegie heirs and the National Park Service have clashed with Carol over the island's future. Carol Ruckdeschel, the "Untamed" naturalist, has done an amazing job living her life the way she wanted while trying to save the turtles and Cumberland Island from man's destruction. She is a true inspiration to people who want to make a difference for the well-being of our planet. Will Harlan, thank you for sharing her life with us!
